The 20-Minute Pizza

½ cup lukewarm water (about 110ºF)
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp quick-rise active dry yeast
½ tsp sugar
1 ¼ cups unbleached whole wheat flour
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp onion powder
½ cup pizza or tomato sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
your favorite pizza toppings
Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
In a large bowl, combine the water, oil, yeast, and sugar. Stir to dissolve the yeast.
Add the flour, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix thoroughly.
Let the dough rest for 5 minutes.
Coat a 12-inch pizza pan with nonstick spray. Place the dough on it and shape into an 11-inch round.
Spread on the sauce, leaving a border. Sprinkle with the cheese and additional toppings.
Bake for about 12 minutes.
