Lending Hearts provides emotional, social and physical support to those living with cancer through the following free, unique and comprehensive services.  Our programs provide age appropriate, emotional and supportive services for the patient and their families during the full journey of treatment and remission.

What is Lending Hearts?

Lending Hearts focuses on pediatric cancer patients and their families, playing a supportive role throughout their journey of surviving treatment and beyond. Programs & services promote wellness, community and emotional support.

Where are you located?

Based out of the South Hills of Pittsburgh, PA, our monthly family activities take place at different locations around the city, providing a fun and educational experience for the children and families involved. Our UP Street services currently take place within the oncology department at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

What is the difference between a program and an event?

A program is an activity offered by Lending Hearts, is free of charge and is offered to all individuals in treatment for, and recovery from, cancer and their entire family or caregiving team.  An event is a fundraising event to benefit and support the efforts of Lending Hearts.
