Lending Hearts at the Erie Otters

On Friday, January 16, 2026, Lending Hearts joined our friends in Erie, Pennsylvania for our first Erie Otters hockey game at Erie Insurance Arena. The Erie Otters are part of the Ontario Hockey League and played this game against the Windsor Spitfires.

It was a snowy, cold night which made it all the more perfect for an Erie hockey game! Our families were invited to be part of the team's High Five Tunnel, and then our Executive Director, Vasso Paliouras, was invited to the ice for the ceremonial puck drop and interviewed by their broadcasting team.

Although the Otters lost 2-3, it was a great time, in a fabulous arena, and we can't wait to go back again next season! Many thanks to everyone at the Erie Otters and the families who joined us for creating a wonderful evening.
