Pittsburgh Pirates Cancer Support Game

What an unforgettable day at PNC Park! 💜⚾

On Sunday, September 6, 2026, Lending Hearts was honored to once again be part of the Pittsburgh Pirates Cancer Support Game—a day that was incredibly special for our youth and families.

Several of our Lending Hearts youth had the opportunity to take the field before the game and be part of some amazing moments—including Kids Take the Field, shouting “PLAY BALL!”, holding the finish-line banner for the Pierogi Race, and taking part in the ceremonial first pitch and catch. ⚾

Then, 100 Lending Hearts youth, families and guests cheered on the Pirates together from the World Series Suites, enjoying an afternoon filled with baseball, laughter, connection and memories we know will last long after the final out.

Days like this mean so much to the families we serve. They give our youth opportunities to simply have fun, experience something extraordinary and make memories together outside the world of cancer.

We are incredibly grateful to the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pirates Charities for continuing to welcome Lending Hearts and for their tremendous support of our mission.
