On Sunday, August 27, 2023, Lending Hearts families had the joy of being part of a special pre-game meet and greet experience with Pirates All Star Pitcher and two-time Roberto Clemente Nominee, David Bednar.
Two of our young Lending Hearts Friends were also able to go on the field to kick off the game with the opening pitch and announcing "Play Ball!"
We are extremely grateful to Pirates Charities, David Bednar and all of the Pittsburgh Pirates organization for their continued support of Lending Hearts. We can't wait to be back at PNC Park in 2024!
