2025 Tropical 5K Classic

Saturday, September 27, 2025 was the Tropical 5K Classic at Allegheny RiverTrail Park.

Many thanks to everyone who came out to run in support of Lending Hearts and the Dr. Stanley Marks Blood Cancer Research Fund during this month of both Childhood Cancer and Blood Cancer Awareness Month. Both are the foundation to the creation of Lending Hearts over 15 years ago. Thank you to the Tropical 5K Classic organizers for their tremendous hard work in creating the most fun 5K and luau race!

Thank you to the many student volunteers from Duquesne University's physical and occupational therapy programs!

Last but certainly not least, thank you to this year's fabulous Tropical Prince, Brooks, and Tropical Princess, Gia, and their families.
