Quick Feta Basil Turkey Burgers

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound ground turkey

  • 1 egg

  • ½ cup Italian breadcrumbs

  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced

  • ¼ cup feta cheese

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped


INSTRUCTIONS


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well.

  2. Shape into 4 equally sized patties (about ½ inch thick) and place on sprayed baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes or until internal cooking temperature reaching 165°F.

  3. For a low-carb option simply swap the romaine lettuce leaves out for the bun. Enjoy!


Note* To add an avocado mash to the top of your burger simply mash 1 avocado, juice of half a lemon, and sea salt together and dollop on top.
