September 11, 2026 marked the 25 year anniversary of September 11th, 2001, the terroristic attacks on the World Trade Centers, Pentagon and the crash of Flight 93 in Shanksville, PA. On that day in 2001, Cantor Fitzgerald lost 658 employees during the September 11 attacks. This accounted for two-thirds of their New York-based workforce. The firm also lost 50 contractors and visitors who were in their offices and an additional 61 employees from the neighboring firm Euro Broker
