If you and your family are in the oncology unit at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh on this day, we hope you will be able to partake in the lunch we provide. Meals are now offered as individual boxed lunches.

To ease the burden of seeking lunch and leaving the bedside of child, Lending Hearts provides boxed lunches to families in the oncology unit at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Lending Hearts was founded on the need to give back for all that was given to the founder's (Vasso Paliouras Founder/Executive Director) family when her youngest sister was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hogkin’s Disease. Vasso's sister was diagnosed the day after she turned 17. "We never would have survived had it not been for all of the prayers, love and support of so many. They lent their hearts to us, and now we lend ours to every other family fighting."
We work towards a world where individuals living with cancer don’t feel alone.
